The library at the National Botanic Gardens, Glasnevin, holds collections relating to botany and horticulture.

In addition to the open access collections, there is a rare books collection, containing items dating back to the 1500s.

The archives forms part of the special collections held at Glasnevin and includes the archives of National Botanic Gardens, as well as personal papers of notable botanists and artists, such as Augustine Henry and Lady Charlotte Wheeler Cuffe.

There is also a collection of botanical art in the Library.
